After a very successful Presidents Cup run last month at Portarlington Golf Club the money from entry, raffles, the great auction along with the raffle money raised in February at our District Irish golf day at Anglesea enabled SWGA Board to handover a cheque for $5000 to Geelong Community Foundation CEO Gail Rodgers today.
Our partnership with GCF was launched in 2022 where we formed a sub fund within the foundation.
Gail was incredibly grateful for our commitment to the community through the Foundation and the positive impact it enables them to make.
GCF is committed to building a sustainable, long-term community asset. With our help, they can continue to assist and uplift our community members in need.
